We are in Halifax! We've arrived, we're alive, we made it. Some of us are further from home than we've ever been, some of us have added another province or two onto our checklist, and some of us are retreading paths well travelled already.
The inside of our mini-van has already gained an identifiable 'man smell' from our twenty hour trip so far. It was a relatively quiet trip, as we tried to sleep, stared off at the scenery, and listened to the mellow melodies of Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Doctor Dre.
We're very lucky to be staying in a wonderful home in Bedford with lots of places to stretch out and sleep. Thank you, Jane!
Dinner was at Subway, paid for largely in part by the lovely Kristen Gage via a gift card.
The easy part is over. Tomorrow we get down to doing what we've come here to do, and start making a movie.
